I have had the watch for over a year, it works flawlessly. The glass is in perfect condition, it is difficult to scratch it with everyday use. Unfortunately, the strap, or rather its clasp, fell apart. I exchanged it for a cheaper bracelet and the watch works flawlessly. Overall I recommend it. I did not advertise the bracelet due to the availability of a complaint point, which is few.

My story with the Atlantic watch began a year ago, when my wife and I decided to present ourselves a unique souvenir for the wedding. We thought about the watch, and since we were both used to wearing the proverbial "crap" from chain stores, we did not know which brand to choose. Here I mentioned to myself that when I was a child, my grandfather always kept telling me "if you want a decent watch, it's just Atlantic". I remembered that somewhere in my old souvenirs I have a watch from my grandfather, I found it and it was indeed a mechanical Atlantic probably from the late 1970s. So I limited my search to this brand only and found a perfect, unique and very elegant model for myself. My wife also found a perfect, unique and very elegant model ... five models in fact, and of course she didn't know which one to go for. Time was passing, the wedding was getting closer, the stress was increasing, and she didn't want to add another choice under pressure, so she put off buying the watch. My model turned out to be a shot at 10. It was a perfect match for a wedding suit, and I thought it was a great idea to buy it for such an important day in our life. Before the ceremony, my wife reminded me not to show this delight, because a glance at my watch during a mass or a wedding could be interpreted ambiguously;). I managed not to peek, but the photographer and the cameraman probably shared my opinion, because there were so many shots of the watch itself from the time of preparations for the wedding that friends joked after watching the film that we already deserve a commission for product placement. This year my wife is turning 30, so I decided to surprise her and buy a special gift that she has put aside for later. So I found all the models she had previously selected and decided to choose one of them. Unfortunately, in the era of the coronavirus, for the first time I had to buy a watch online without seeing it before, but I had to take the risk. The birthday has come. I proudly handed my wife the box, and she replied with a smile: "oh my, did you buy me a watch?" "Come on open and see," I said, looking at that smile. Unfortunately, it did not appear on her face for a long time. As soon as she opened the box, I heard: - Such? Looks like my grandma's watch. For a moment I wondered if this was a joke. No, it wasn't a joke. The watch she had chosen herself a year earlier did not appeal to her at all. I understand, a woman is a variable, well, but that so? Trying not to go out of my way and repeating in my mind that it was her birthday, I just said: - Yes, that's the one you chose for your wedding, but if you don't like it, we'll return it and choose another one, no problem. - Yes? However, this bracelet is one of the elegant ones, and the silver dial is great, because black is too dark, well, this watch is so suited to me, it is even, really great, you can buy one more for me every day. An important moral of this story to other customers: Don't judge the watch in the package.
