After my recent mediocre experiences (delayed shipping, plus the watch itself—the Certina was, unfortunately, just average...) I was tempted by the price. And it was worth it. I ordered the watch over the weekend, and by Tuesday it was waiting for me at the parcel locker. And the watch itself—exactly what I wanted. Lightweight, simple, easy to read, the lume is pretty good, and most importantly for a quartz watch—the second hand hits every second mark dead center (unlike that Certina, which costs twice as much as the Laco...). The strap is pretty stiff, and the leather isn’t really my style... but I’ll wear it a bit and it’ll break in. Awesome!

The watch met my expectations. Its compact size makes it look great on my slender wrist, and the strap—though slightly thicker—is soft and fits snugly, which greatly enhances comfort. There’s nothing to complain about in terms of build quality. Visually, the watch also makes a great impression with its aviation-inspired design. The Luma is, of course, powerful, just like in many other Laco models. I’m happy with my purchase, and I have a feeling this won’t be the last watch from this manufacturer that I’ll own. I recommend it.
