For hundreds of years, the compass sufficed for travelers as the only tool (besides the moon, stars and sun) for orienting themselves and determining their position. Suddenly, however, they were no longer needed - the moment watches equipped with a compass entered the market. Such equipment is perfect for any traveler going into the wilderness or mountains.
How does the compass in the watch work?
Hidden inside the watch are two coils that pick up small changes in voltage caused by the magnetic field of the earth - even the slightest change modifies the displayed value. Therefore, in order for it not to be disturbed by the changing position, an anti-magnetic module is usually placed there, whose task is to cushion the entire system against voltage changes.
