What distinguishes watches for divers?
Each such watch has been properly reinforced, making it absolutely safe to use under the surface of the water. This is helped both by the high level of water resistance (usually a water resistance of 200 meters is accepted for a recreational diver's watch), as well as extensive protection options, such as additional seals, a tightened crown or a helium valve. Also, the use of appropriate materials is of considerable importance - professional divers' watches are mainly made of stainless steel, sometimes titanium and their straps of high-quality rubber or rubber, resistant to possible mechanical damage.
Features in divers' watches - everything for comfortable and safe immersion
Depending on the selected model, divers' watches can be equipped with a chronograph, or stopwatch, which helps to more efficiently determine the time spent underwater - this is of great importance especially during long sessions at considerable depths, as too much time under the surface of the water can result in health hazards. In dive watch models, you can also often find a depth gauge, which determines, based on pressure, the depth at which the diver is, as well as a special backlight with significant luminous intensity, since surface light no longer reaches a certain depth. Efficient backlighting, as well as expanded hands and clear indexes, make it possible to read the time regardless of depth.
What watches for divers to choose?
Some of the most precise and at the same time advanced watches for those who practice water sports is the special Citizen Promaster series. One of the most popular lines is also Seiko Prospex, which is adapted both in design and function to considerable depths.
