Its durability and reliability are impressive—the shock-resistant system really works, and the 200-meter water resistance gives me peace of mind, even while swimming or in demanding conditions. Features like the stopwatch, timer, alarm, and calendar are practical and useful, though operating them with the small buttons takes a little getting used to. The EL-backlit display allows for reading in the dark, but the brightness could be better at times. The watch is lightweight and comfortable to wear. Overall, it’s a very good purchase—reliable, practical, and functional, perfect as an everyday “rugged” watch.

I’ve had this G-Shock DW-9052-1VER for a few months now, and I’m very happy with it. It’s lightweight and comfortable despite its fairly chunky case, and the plastic strap fits well on my wrist—I wear it every day, including during workouts. A big plus is its water resistance up to 200 meters—I’ve swum in a lake with it a few times and everything works flawlessly. The stopwatch, timer, alarm, and EL backlight are features I actually use, especially when running and working out in the evening. The watch looks rugged and solid, as befits a G-Shock, and I get the feeling it can really take a beating. For this price, it’s a great choice—simple, reliable, and durable, exactly what I was expecting.

A great, tried-and-true model. It’s water-resistant up to 200 meters and features a stopwatch, timer, alarm, date display, and EL backlight—tried-and-true, useful features for everyday use.
Although the watch is quite bulky—about 47 mm in diameter and 15 mm thick—it sits comfortably on the wrist. It may only be uncomfortable when worn with formal attire featuring tight cuffs. For me, when worn on a daily basis, it works perfectly. I recommend it.
