Limited to 999 pieces, the Vostok Europe Radio Room Silentium Pro Vita Automatic Limited Edition NH34-224A793B men’s watch comes in a wooden oak box and serves as a functional tribute to the Radio Room watches used by shipboard radio operators in the early 20th century. The design was inspired by the history of radio procedures introduced after the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912, when constant monitoring of distress signals and periods of radio silence became more important. The blue gradient dial is divided into four three-minute sectors spaced every 15 minutes, which reference the mandatory breaks in routine maritime communication designated for listening for distress signals. The hour markers create a clear dial layout and carry the historical function of radio watches into a contemporary design. The silver 316L stainless steel case is 48 mm wide and 17 mm thick, and its polished and brushed finish emphasizes the technical character of the model. The watch features a silver-and-gold integrated stainless steel bracelet with PVD elements, a ceramic bezel with a minute scale and 48 clicks, and a screw-down crown on the right side. The dial is protected by a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is scratch-resistant and makes the display easy to read. The hour markers and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, making it easier to tell the time after dark. The model is powered by the TMI NH34 automatic GMT movement with 24 jewels and a 41-hour power reserve, and the 12/24-hour time format allows you to track a second time zone. The date window makes it easy to check the current date, and the transparent, screw-down case back allows you to view the movement. With a water resistance of 200 m, you can swim and snorkel with this watch.
