This is a good and appreciated model working on an automatic movement, the success of which is justified, among other things, by its unparalleled durability, precision and quality of workmanship. Timeless style and class are among the many terms that this remarkable, but simple in its design, timepiece can enjoy. The composition of the white dial and silver hands and indexes allows for quick and intuitive reading of the watch's indications, while the brown strap made of good quality leather sensationally harmonizes with the other components, as a result of which the watch looks aesthetically pleasing. An additional advantage is the fact that the watch both fits into an elegant style, and will prove useful in less formal situations as a great accessory that emphasizes tastefulness. Thanks to the well-fitted "open heart" window, the watch takes on a more prestigious character, making it often an eye-catcher, not only for checking the current time. Deciding on the described model, I spent a lot of time reading reviews and opinions. The only downside that was pointed out was the loud running mechanism. Being a user of the watch, I can say that this in no way interferes with daily use, moreover, it is practically imperceptible. Color of the dial - a matter of taste. I hesitated about this issue, but the choice fell on a light color (maybe because I already have another watch with a dark dial). The reading would have been better with slightly darker indexes and hands as in the RA-AR0005Y10B model, and vice versa. This is influenced by the angle of the light. But this is my personal suggestion. In summary: a good watch at a good price.

A beautiful mechanical (automatic) Orient in the classic style of the 1950s. I guess one could write a lot about this Bambino model, and the photos do not even convey a fraction of its charm. Noteworthy is the fact that this is the only model in the Bambino series to feature a dial with Roman indexes. The 40mm envelope size is perfectly suited to the requirements of dress watches. Fact, it could be a tad smaller, but the round shape optically compensates for this. The polished lunette and matte sides give the impression of elegance, and at the same time seriousness and a certain discretion. Superimposed silver indexes add legibility by standing out strongly from the dial, and the convex glass adds depth - the dial also appears convex. The color of the dial is definitely more pearlescent than white, and in a side-facing light you can also see the delicate sunbursts. What is certain is that depending on the lighting, the watch always looks different, with the color of the dial changing from gray-white through white, cream, to pearl and silvery. The hands, depending on the lighting, take on a color from black to intense cornflower blue, and it's this that makes the watch look incredibly individual and unique, adding life to it and breaking the rules. What I personally like very much, the hands are long, slender and combine with the minute and seconds graduations beautifully laid out in the form of circles surrounding the dial. The flavor is added by the large crown, as it used to be, very comfortable to use. On the wrist, the watch looks much smaller than 12 mm. This is due to the convex glass, which raises the height physically, but at the same time lowers it optically; in addition, the screw-down caseback is also convex and, fitting the wrist, disappears on the hand. The profile of the watch is basically limited to the height of the sides of the steel envelope, which is about 5 mm, and fits quietly under a shirt cuff. The workmanship and attention to detail stands at a very high level, despite the price range Orient knows. The F67 mechanism screws up very quickly and has great gait stability. My copy, used for half a year, shows minimal deviations of 0 to +2 seconds per day. I consider this a sensational result. For those who like to change things, the troublesome thing may be the strap size, which is 21 mm, but you can also wear a 22 mm strap without any problems (in the photo changed to a black 22 mm Chorido). This Orient model captivates, transports you back in time, but also shows that it has its own style and character, its own individuality, at the same time being pleasing to the eye, not flashy, but stylish, with the soul of its own mechanism and the soul of times that have not passed.

I knew that I wanted a watch on a leather strap preferably black and with a bright dial, this already narrowed down the search a bit. The second most important thing was the company. After reading the back of articles, I decided on the Orient brand, because it was written everywhere that it is a very good company and inexpensive. And I will admit that I also depended on a good price because of my limited budget. Moving on to the watch itself, what I really liked about it was the classic style combined with the open heart window. It is something that makes everyone look at the watch. My husband says he is constantly asked about the model of the watch. In addition to its nice appearance, it also has an automatic movement which also influenced his purchase positively. A good price for such a watch is another additional plus. I am delighted and my husband too so I can only give a rating of the highest. An interesting automatic at a good price. The quality of workmanship and materials used is very good. Attention is drawn to the beautiful sunray cut of the dial, whose elements are finished as in more expensive watches. The decent luminescent coating on the hands and hour indexes shines quite brightly and for a relatively long time. The biggest plus, however, is the mechanism used. It's Orient's own (so-called in-house) product, which tops the competition at this price with its stop-seconds function and crown-tightening capability. It's a very solid, durable and well-designed mechanism. The day deviation of my copy is a very decent 10 sec for a mechanical watch. The only thing I don't like about this model is the strap, which, although leather, gives the impression of being a bit "artificial." The watch gained a lot after replacing it, as you can see in the attached photo. Despite this flaw, Orient's product defends itself with a huge number of advantages, I recommend it especially to those looking for an inexpensive first automatic watch. In such a role it will certainly meet expectations.

For many years I wore the first version of the Mako watch. I decided to change because I was convinced by the positive changes made to the model. First of all, it is a true Diver, with a tightened crown and lugs, WR 20 ATM and a rotating bezel. The main advantage is the new Orient F6622 mechanism with functions taken from much higher models: stop second and manual winding. Operation of the mechanism solved very practically, with the crown the ability to quickly change the day of the month and day of the week. Only tightening the crown is a little more difficult compared to the previous model. Sapphire glass is a nice addition. Minimalist design, deep color - very suitable for smart casual style at work as well as going to the water. The black rubber strap is my least favorite, it's comfortable, but easily collects dust and flecks. I replaced it with my own in a perishable color.
