I have always been a proponent of sporty style and chose watches of this nature. At a certain age, however, I began to wear a shirt more often than a sweatshirt, and decided it was time for a classic suit watch. The Orient, which I decided to buy, impresses with its timeless design at first glance. A good quality leather strap, compact envelope size, traditional dial and convex glass are the elements that coherently build the final effect of unprecedented elegance. Particularly noteworthy is the so-called open heart, which is an opening in the dial, through which you can see the working mechanism. This makes interacting with this timepiece a pure pleasure for any watch enthusiast. The Bambino (as this Orient line is commonly called) was supposed to be for evening occasions only, but after a few months of use I know that it works perfectly for less formal gatherings as well - all you need is a white shirt to have an excuse to put it on your wrist. All in all, the ratio of price to quality and wearing pleasure is unbeatable with this Orient. I highly recommend this model, as well as the Watch Shop, where I regularly expand my collection.

Interesting slot machine at a good price. The quality of workmanship and materials used is very good. The beautiful sunburst of the dial draws attention, the elements of which are finished like in more expensive watches. A decent luminescent coating on the hands and hourly indices shines quite brightly and for a relatively long time. The biggest advantage, however, is the mechanism used. This is the Orient's own product (so-called in-house), which beats the competition at this price with the stop-second function and the possibility of tightening with a crown. It is a very solid, durable and well-designed mechanism. The daily deviation of my copy is very decent for a mechanical watch, 10 seconds. The only thing I don't like about this model is the strap, which, despite being leather, feels a bit "artificial". The watch gained a lot after its replacement, as can be seen in the attached photo. Despite this disadvantage, the Orienta product has a lot of advantages, I recommend it especially to people looking for an inexpensive, first automatic watch. In this role, it will surely live up to expectations.

For many years, I wore the first version of the Mako watch. I decided to change because I was convinced by the positive changes introduced to the model. First and foremost, it is a true Diver, with a screwed down crown and lids, a WR 20 ATM, and a rotating bezel. The main advantage is the new Orient F6622 movement with functions taken from much higher models: stop seconds and manual winding. The operation of the mechanism is solved very practically, with the use of the crown it is possible to quickly change the day of the month and day of the week. Only tightening the crown is a bit more difficult compared to the previous model. The sapphire crystal is a nice addition. Minimalistic design, deep color - it fits very well with the smart casual style at work and going to the water. My worst opinion is the black rubber strap, it is comfortable, but it easily picks up dust and lint. Swapped for my own in a perishable color.

When choosing, I was guided by three principles - legibility, versatility and elegance. I found all these three principles in an Orient watch. Mako III attracts not only with its appearance but also with quality - it is equipped with a reliable in-house automatic movement by Orient and, which deserves a high praise, the ability to tighten the mechanism with a crown, which is known from the highest class watches. This watch has - as befits a diver - high water resistance of 20 atmospheres, so you can dive in it up to 200 meters without fear. An incredible advantage of the watch is the scratch-resistant sapphire glass that provides the effect of a "watch from the salon" regardless of the time of use. The bracelet is made of stainless steel, so we do not have to worry about its rusting, but the downside of the bracelet is that at the very beginning of use it can be slightly irritating, because it crackles slightly and is sometimes loud with more rapid hand movements. The above Orient is also a very functional timer, because it has been equipped with a rotating bezel, with which we can easily mark and measure the time, for example, from parking the car in a paid parking zone or set a reminder at what time our train leaves. Among other very useful functions of the Mako III watch, it should be noted that it has an excellent luma, which will allow us to easily read the time in the dark. The watch also has a date display with an indication of the day of the week and the month. It is worth mentioning that we can choose the language of the date stamp of the days of the week from two language versions - English and Latin.

I like divers. I searched for quite a long time and considered many models, but (despite more expensive competition) the choice fell on the Japanese Orient. The manufacturer states that the indexes of the dial are to resemble predatory barracuda. There is really something to it. Thanks to its appearance, the watch is very versatile. The timer can be successfully worn both with a suit and during holidays by any body of water, because the water resistance of 20 atmospheres allows safe (for the watch) diving even with scuba. It is also very solid. Japanese producers are famous for this. This is evidenced by, for example, a sapphire crystal, a massive bracelet and a bezel that moves with a pleasant resistance. In addition, another advantage is the automatic Orienta movement used in this model. Japanese engineers developed it themselves, based on many years of experience. Thus, they did not take the easy way and did not borrow the mechanism from another manufacturer. It has a 40-hour power reserve. Finally, it is worth mentioning the rather ambiguous color of the dial. Depending on the time of day and the intensity of the light, it is sometimes in a shade of bottle green, dark navy blue, and sometimes even black. To sum up, I recommend it to all those who want to have a decent mid-range timepiece, but not different from the more expensive competition. On my rather slim (17.3 cm) wrist it looks decent.
