10/31/23Solar charging - 3 hours in direct sunlight charged 5%, equivalent to a little less than 5 hours of additional GPS tracking time.
While this is useful, and may be necessary in some cases, I'm not sure how much value solar charging adds. Additionally, the green solar battery ring takes up space for an even larger display (although a larger display would probably also use more battery :) ). There are always compromises.... -
5/19/23My 30th birthday present. It works great in "home" conditions and I already love it. I'm taking it on a trip across America and counting on it. We'll see how it performs there.
