The Davosa brand has enjoyed a long-standing reputation among watch enthusiasts around the world, combining tradition with a modern approach to watchmaking. Its previous collections, such as the Ternos and Argonautic, have won the hearts of precision watch enthusiasts. Today, Davosa launches a novelty - the Ternos Professional 68h Automatic, a watch inspired by its previous successes but going in a completely new direction.
The Davosa Ternos Professional 68h Automatic is a tribute to watchmaking tradition with a modern twist. The brand logo in the form of a wind rose, placed on the arrowheads of the hands, symbolises the new direction in which the Ternos collection is heading. This detail underlines not only the precision craftsmanship but also the spirit of exploration and discovery that has always accompanied the brand.
At the heart of the new Davos Ternos Professional 68h Automatic is the advanced DAV3121 movement, based on the renowned La Joux Perret G100 Elabore calibre. This technological masterpiece offers an impressive 68 hours of power reserve, a significant advance over previous models. This allows the watch to remain stationary for almost three days without losing precision timekeeping. This is ideal for active people who can leave the watch on over the weekend, only to find it ready for action on Monday morning without the need to wind it up.
Davosa did not stop at improving the interior of the watch. The brand's engineers have also focused on improving the ergonomics and functionality of the envelope. Compared to previous models, the height of the envelope has been reduced by 2 mm, reaching just 12.8 mm in thickness. This change not only improves wearing comfort, but also makes the watch look elegant both under a shirt cuff and on the exposed wrist.
The crown, adorned with the brand's logo, is equipped with a double gasket and a slip clutch, which significantly increases its resistance to damage and accidental manipulation. With an impressive water resistance of up to 30 atmospheres (300 metres), the Ternos Professional 68h is ready for the most demanding dives. In addition, it is worth noting the use of SuperLumiNova© BGW9 luminous compound not only on the hands and indexes, but also on the ceramic bezel insert. This solution ensures excellent legibility in all conditions, even in the total darkness of the deep sea.
The innovative bracelet with screwed links is finished with the proprietary WaveSlide micro-adjustable clasp. This revolutionary solution allows precise adjustment of the bracelet length without the use of tools, which is particularly useful when diving, for example. In addition to such a convenience, the watches also offer a day-of-the-month date display, sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating, and a push-button clasp.
The Davosa Ternos Professional 68h Automatic is available in three elegant colour versions to satisfy the tastes of even the most discerning customers. The 161.538.50 model features a black dial and black ceramic bezel, the 161.538.70 version offers a black dial and green ceramic bezel, while the 161. 538.40 model stands out with a black dial with a navy blue bezel. Each of these watches is the perfect combination of style and functionality, and Davosa considers this model to be the best diver they have produced to date.
