Swatch continues its collaboration with the famous Tate gallery chain by expanding its range of watches inspired by works of art. With this year's Swatch Art Journey, the manufacturer wants to reach a wider audience with art. The Swatch x Tate Gallery partnership is a journey through time and styles. The iconic artists and exceptional pieces selected for this year's collection are synonymous with the boundary-pushing, innovation, positive provocation and joie de vivre for which the Swatch brand is renowned.

The Swatch Tate Gallery Turner's Scarlet Sunset SO28Z700 makes use of the iconic image by showing it on the surface of the entire watch, focusing on light and colour. The creative use of a date hand adds depth to the overall design - the sun on the dial subtly changes shade on a 14-day cycle every day, thanks to a special multicoloured date hand. Another model was inspired by a Marc Chagall painting. The Swatch Tate Gallery Chagall's Blue Circus SUOZ365 evokes memories of the circus thanks to the intense, vibrant blue colour on the strap and dial. The hour hand features a sickle of the moon at the end of the hour hand, while the minute hand features an image of an eye.

The Swatch Tate Gallery Miro's Women And Bird In The Moonlight SO29Z136 watch features excerpts from a painting by Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramicist Joan Miró Women And Bird In The Moonlight. The model has a transparent matte dark blue envelope, which houses a coloured dial with printed white indices and dark blue hands. Fernand Léger belonged to the Parisian artistic avant-garde of the early 20th century and was associated with Cubism. This model features the painting The Snail on the dial and strap. In addition, the strap also features the artist's signature. The dial is complemented by black hands. The paintings of British artist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham are an explosion of vibrant colours and energetic, free brushstrokes. Such is the Swatch Tate Gallery Barns-Graham's Orange And Red On Pink SUOZ362 watch inspired by the artist's work. In this model, large black indexes are printed on the glass covering the dial. The hour and minute hand are black, while the seconds are measured by a white hand.

The last model in the new Tate Gallery collection is the Swatch Tate Gallery Bourgeois's Spirals SUOZ364 watch. It has a transparent matte blue envelope, and the dial and matte blue strap are decorated with a printed fragment of the Spirals painting.
