11/4/23The MTG-B3000FR-1AER model is decorated with an engraved logo designed by American graphic designer Eric Haze.
What I was surprised to see is how Casio revolutionized the drive of its G-shock watches just a few years ago and transformed the former quartz battery with the promise of a "10-year runtime" into an environmentally friendly mechanism. Rugged solar technology 'Tough Solar' is the keyword.
The required solar cells have been integrated into the dial and are not visible to the average observer. At the same time, the efficiency is so high that Tough Solar watches operate even in very low light conditions. Excess energy is stored and then recovered. The moment we leave the 40-year-old G-SHOCK Flare Red MTG-B3000FR-1AER in a drawer for an extended period of time, avet then it will take several months before all the energy reserves are used up. The term sundial takes on a whole new meaning. -
