Certina Aqua DS Action Lady C032.251.11.051.09 is a stylish timepiece that goes well with both elegant styling and sporty design. The model features a silver-colored steel envelope, which sets a black dial decorated with a motif of (slightly) glittering waves. What's more, its surface features a day-of-the-month date and hands filled with Super-LumiNova coating for reading the time in a darkened environment. The whole is paired with a matching bracelet, which is made of 316L stainless steel. The water resistance of the Certina Aqua DS Action Lady C0322511105109 is 300 meters, so you can both surface swim and scuba dive with it. The watch is powered by the F04.412 Precidrive quartz movement, which has an EOL energy depletion indicator. The device boasts of being a COSC-certified chronometer.
Functions
Steel
The 316L stainless steel, which Certina uses for cases, bracelets and clasps for instance, is extremely resistant, corrosion-resistant and hygienic. It contains only a very small proportion of nickel, which is not emitted when worn and therefore does not trigger any nickel allergies.
Sapphire
Sapphire watch crystal is made of aluminium oxide powder (Al2O3) heated to over 2000°C. The resultant sapphire nugget is cut with great precision into fine slices, trimmed and polished. Sapphire is extremely scratch-resistant, shock-resistant and is very transparent. This is why sapphire crystal is an essential element in the DS Concept.
DS

PVD
PVD is the abbreviation for physical vapour deposition and refers to an extremely modern coating method by means of which a material, for instance gold, can be transferred to your choice of steel or titanium workpiece in vapour form. The result is as fine as it is durable: PVD is resistant, corrosion-resistant and very hard.
10 BAR (100 M)
This information about the water resistance states the specified overpressure and diving depth to which a watch can be subjected and still remain in working order. As a general rule, we do not recommend wearing watches that are water-resistant to less than 10 bar (100 m) when swimming or diving. All Certina timepieces can withstand a pressure of at least 10 bar (100 m) stand – some of our watches can even withstand considerably higher pressures!

2/21/22It is lovely, it has a glittery glittery dial, it looks overall like a wave. The envelope is not large, so it fits very well with my hand and the jewelry I wear every day. Outgoing and tasteful, this is the kind of watch I've always wanted and needed :D
