Original concept with the freely combinable three-part construction
The most important thing of the DS+ series is the unique three-part design, comprising the watch, case and strap. Each component is an independent unit that can be effortlessly combined with the other two. The mechanical module is seamlessly inserted from below into a stainless steel case and screwed solidly in place with a separate crown on the case. To ensure high water resistance, an innovative gasket crafted from a plant-derived material is used. The case also features lugs for fast and easy attachment of the desired strap.
New modules available with two different dials
Two new mechanical modules from Certina are now available for purchase. The first is the Certina DS+ C041.407.19.031.91, featuring a stunning silver dial. The second is the Certina DS+ C041.407.19.041.91, boasting an eye-catching blue dial. Both models are equipped with robust sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating, known for its exceptional hardness and enhanced readability. The dial features stick indices and large, easily readable gold-plated hands coated with Super-LumiNova, providing excellent visibility in low-light conditions. The dial also has a date display at 6 o'clock.
The watch is powered by the exceptional Swiss Powermatic 80.611 automatic movement. It features 25 jewels and boasts an impressive 80-hour power reserve, ensuring reliable and precise timekeeping. Equipped with a Nivachron™ hairspring, these watches are protected against the disruptive effects of electromagnetic fields, further enhancing their accuracy and durability. The transparent caseback offers a captivating view of the intricate workings of the mechanism, allowing enthusiasts to appreciate the craftsmanship that lies within. With a water resistance rating of 20 ATM, these timepieces are well-suited for swimming and free-diving.
