The Certina Aqua DS Action Lady C032.251.11.091.09 is an elegant ladies' watch of the highest quality. The model consists of a steel envelope, which is 34 mm wide, and a matching silver-colored bracelet. The whole is complemented by a green dial decorated with a motif of sporadic glittering waves. The surface of the dial features hands filled with Super-LumiNova coating, as well as a practical day-of-the-month date pad. The whole is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating. The product is powered by the F04.412 Precidrive quartz movement with EOL energy depletion indicator, the Certina Aqua DS Action Lady C0322511109109 also boasts the designation of a COSC-certified chronometer. A water resistance rating of 300 meters means that it can withstand damage during surface swimming or diving at shallow depths. The manufacturer provides a two-year warranty and company packaging.
Functions
Steel
The 316L stainless steel, which Certina uses for cases, bracelets and clasps for instance, is extremely resistant, corrosion-resistant and hygienic. It contains only a very small proportion of nickel, which is not emitted when worn and therefore does not trigger any nickel allergies.

PVD
PVD is the abbreviation for physical vapour deposition and refers to an extremely modern coating method by means of which a material, for instance gold, can be transferred to your choice of steel or titanium workpiece in vapour form. The result is as fine as it is durable: PVD is resistant, corrosion-resistant and very hard.
10 BAR (100 M)
This information about the water resistance states the specified overpressure and diving depth to which a watch can be subjected and still remain in working order. As a general rule, we do not recommend wearing watches that are water-resistant to less than 10 bar (100 m) when swimming or diving. All Certina timepieces can withstand a pressure of at least 10 bar (100 m) stand – some of our watches can even withstand considerably higher pressures!
