The watch is equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, has a water resistance rating of 100m and a quartz movement with an EOL system that informs of low battery levels. The watch is also equipped with a special DS - Double Security system, which is a hallmark of Certina watches. It consists of several additional elements that ensure high durability and water resistance of the watch - sapphire glass, special seals on the crown stem and the crown itself, a seal at the caseback, a reinforced caseback.
