Mineral hardened glass protects the dial in a refreshing Antarctic blue with a pattern of snow and penguin footprints reflected on it, which is further complemented by a day-of-the-month date stamp. A LumiBrite glow-in-the-dark coating has been applied to the hands and indexes. The model is spill-resistant for swimming and diving without an aqualung.
