AVI-8 has collaborated with the Laguna's Spitfire Legacy (LSL) to create a Spitfire chronograph limited to just 450 pieces to pay tribute to the famous 303 Squadron. With this action, the brand wishes to support LSL's work to restore the Spitfire P8331 to airworthy condition. It's worth noting that this iconic aircraft holds a rich historical significance, having been last piloted by Piotr Laguna, the esteemed commander of the 1st Polish Fighter Wing.

The AVI-8 brand's limited edition watch serves as a profound tribute to the remarkable valour and dedication of the 18,000 Polish pilots and ground crew who valiantly defended Britain during WWII. Despite their significant contributions, these brave individuals were regrettably excluded from the London Victory Celebrations of 1946. To commemorate the gallantry of Piotr Laguna and the renowned 303 Squadron, the manufacturer has painstakingly redesigned the Spitfire Meca-Quartz Chronograph model with exceptional attention to detail and unique features. This serves as a heartfelt homage, acknowledging the unrivalled abilities and sacrifices made by these pilots during the Battle of Britain and throughout World War II.
The Spitfire Laguna Chronograph Limited Edition watch with a legible dial and the 303 Squadron emblem
The symmetrical and legible dial with two sub-dials was inspired by the indicators of the Spitfire's panel board and enhanced with red and white accents. The subdial features the 303 Squadron emblem at 9 o'clock. The indices are coated with Swiss luminescent compound for excellent visibility in low-light conditions.

Measuring 42mm in diameter, the solid steel case and custom stopwatch buttons capture the design of the legendary Spitfire. Drawing inspiration from the iconic curved fighter plane, the sides of the case are meticulously crafted. To complement this remarkable timepiece, a 22mm genuine leather strap in a vintage style has been handcrafted with utmost care. Not only is it comfortable to wear, but also features striking red and white stitching, paying homage to the heritage of the 303 Squadron.

This limited edition watch is equipped with the renowned Japanese VK quartz movement.
