Finnish smartwatch manufacturer Suunto has unveiled new models from its popular Race series. The brand is going for colour diversity this time. Suunto Race watches are available in three new colour variants. However, this is not all the novelties from the manufacturer. The Suunto Sonic bone conduction headphones have also had their premiere.

Suunto Race in three new colourways
The Suunto Race line has been expanded with new colour versions. These include the Midnight (SS050930000), Birch (SS050931000) and Amethyst (SS050933000) colours. Midnight and Birch are variants made of stainless steel, while Amethyst is made of titanium. The watches feature high-resolution AMOLED screens, more than 95 sports modes, offline maps or advanced training data. Suunto Race is a complete sports watch with which to prepare for training or competitions. The watch also provides insight into your recovery process.
Suunto Race's clear display and revolutionary digital crown
Suunto Racewatches feature a bright 1.43-inch touchscreen display, ensuring that the content displayed can be read quickly, even in sunlight. The digital crown located on the side provides convenience and ease of menu navigation. Suunto Race has been tested to military standards, meaning it is the perfect companion in the most demanding conditions.
Suunto Race's long battery life
Battery life when using the clear AMOLED display is exceptionally long. With the Performance battery mode selected, you can train for up to 40 hours. Tour mode, on the other hand, gives you the opportunity to enjoy additional hours of GPS tracking and use the watch for up to 5 days. Suunto Race also allows you to track the effects of your workouts. The smartwatch provides personalised feedback on training load, progress and recovery calculated from heart rate variability (HRV). Suunto Race features a sleek design as well as training functions and support for everyday situations. From 24/7 activity and heart rate monitoring, to sending smart notifications and alerts.
Music-enriched workouts with Suunto Sonic headphones
The new headphones from Suunto feature an open-ear design that provides excellent sound quality through bone conduction. This design allows you to combine sporting activities with a full awareness of traffic. As a result, you can hear the sounds around you as well as your favourite music. Unlike traditional in-ear headphones, Suunto Sonic rests on the jawbone and leaves the ear canal open without cutting off nature or traffic sounds.
These headphones feature a lightweight, comfortable design and a newly designed transducer. It provides greater sensitivity, enhanced bass and reduced sound leakage. IP55 water resistance allows you to train in hot, cold and rainy weather. One full 60-minute charge of the headphones provides up to 10 hours of use. While a 10-minute charge of the discharged headphones will provide 3 hours of playback. Suunto Sonic are available in Lime (SS050947000) and Black (SS050946000).
