In 2010, at the Baselworld Watch Fair in Basel, Switzerland, Bulova unveiled watches with an innovative quartz movement with a great oscillation frequency - 262,144 hertz. The collection of these watches was named Precisionist, to emphasize their several times higher accuracy compared to traditional quartz watches. Precisionist watches by Bulova (now part of the Citizen Group) measure time to an accuracy of +/- 0.8 seconds per month, or about 10 seconds per year. So they are accurate enough without the need for complicated and not always effective radio time-keeping mechanisms. At the same time, they are relatively inexpensive.

This is the first time I got a Bulova watch and I think not the last. First impression after opening the package WOW! Beautifully packaged, a lovely box that I will use to store my jewelry. I like the fact that the bracelet combines silver and gold, because I really can never decide between the two colors. Both in jewelry and watches. The watch is very delicate, has a small envelope and looks graceful on the wrist. A seemingly ordinary dial, yet the overall design gives it something special. In my opinion, class! Perfect for the office and for your daily closet. I think it will also work superbly for larger outings.

Watch functions - what a watch should do - time display :), maybe a date stamp could be used. After a few days, I noticed a deviation of a few seconds at most. I will check it out again. But it looks like it is definitely not inferior to the quartz Atlantica or the Citizen EcoDrive with which I compare it. Appearance - I have a "black" version which is not as black as in the graphics. Dark steel, which I would compare to the color of heat-resistant steel, from which the elements of jet engine nozzles are made :). It looks great! In addition, the possibility of observing the operation of the mechanism from two sides! The only thing I would change in it would be to use hints of greater contrast to make them more visible against the background of the mechanism. A fairly clear luminescence helps in the dark, but it is worse in low light, when the hands and scale are not yet visible. To sum up, an eye-catching watch, quite large, heavy, with "flavors", such as a visible movement and the color of the case and bracelet itself! In addition, at a reasonable price for a machine. For lovers of gold watches, it will be the perfect choice :). I don't really use the stopwatch, but it looks effective, just like the more practical date display with the day of the month and the day of the week. All right, so is the glass. I recommend :)
