Neobrite backlight - how does it work?
Neobrite backlighting is one of the classic methods used in watchmaking. It is nothing more than a special phosphorescent coating that is used to cover the hands and indexes in watches. Its main advantage is that it absorbs both sunlight and artificial light, to be able to later give back all that energy previously taken away in the form of luminous markings in the dark. The important thing is that the strength and power of the illumination depends on the length of exposure of the fluorescent mass. Thus, it is important to remember not to cover the watch dial at the time if we know that we will need such backlighting later.
