Tissot T-Touch Connect watches - history of origin
The end of the 1990s was a time when the growing strength of capitalism resulted in increasing customer demands. Therefore, companies that wanted to maintain their high position in the market had to do their best. For the Tissot brand, however, hard work and desire for success was no novelty. Since its foundation, the company has worked extensively to introduce new solutions and improvements to existing products. One such innovation was the launch of a watch with a touch screen.

The new watch was, of course, a huge success and the Tissot brand saw the drive for further development. 9 years after the release of the first touch watch, the Tissot T-Touch Expert saw the light of day. Compared to the previous model, it had richer functionality and improved water resistance.
In 2014, the brand released the first ever solar-powered touchscreen watch - Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar. In terms of design, the Expert Solar looked like the original model, but in terms of functions it was much more functional and durable.

All the electronic components of the T-Touch Connect Solar are energy efficient. The watch features latest-generation photovoltaic cells which eliminate the need for long, frequent and stationary cable recharges. For now, the model is compatible with iOS and Android. In the near future, however, the watch will also be compatible with Harmony OS operating systems. When offline, it has the same functions as the T-Touch Solar Expert.
