I bought the watch two years ago. Today after cleaning it looks exactly the same as the day I bought it. Beautiful and very accurate. I set the time on it only for the time change. It is my "daily" watch bravely enduring the hardships of my work :) It was my first automatic, which infected me with a passion for timepieces. Currently, I still own a Seiko SPB059J1 and an Atlantic Worldmaster, of course, the Orient Star does not differ from them in terms of workmanship, and the steel bracelet performs better than leather in daily activities. I would recommend for a first watch or for a watch to go with a casual outfit.

A compass is sometimes even necessary, but rarely, because you can determine geographic north faster, using the sun, the 12 o'clock on the dial and the hour hand. But there is one snag, in this watch the north (NORD) is at 12 o'clock, while it should be at 6 o'clock, because Poland lies in the northern hemisphere. That's how North Americans can determine north for themselves.
