A very sturdy watch, and for a G-SHOCK, it’s actually quite stylish. It’s one of the few classic models I own, and so far I really like it. The features work... I just haven’t been able to definitively test the radio synchronization feature; generally, it’s my work companion and it never lets me down.

A quick follow-up to my previous review :) Right after I bought it, I charged the watch battery to full capacity. I’ve been playing around with various features for two weeks now, and the battery indicator still shows that it’s fully charged. Up to 85%, the indicator shows the letter "H"; below 85%, it shows "M". So the battery used in this watch is powerful! :) The carbon fiber elements only look square in the photo. In reality, they’re perfectly cut, fitted, and streamlined. They feel very durable. Everything works together perfectly! The metal parts, carbon fiber parts, and rubber (strap). Overall, the materials used to make the watch, as well as the strap, are premium quality. The dial design is beautiful, and the lume is great too!

I thought long and hard about buying this watch. I finally bought it, and I don’t regret it! The watch is absolutely beautiful and very solidly built! The “solar” feature is very light-sensitive, so it charges the battery even in low light. In cheaper models, this feature doesn’t work nearly as well. I’m pleasantly surprised by how easy the negative display is to read! While it isn’t a MIP display, it’s very easy to read, even from different angles or in low light. In cheaper models, readability on negative displays is much worse. I just hope that the quartz movement used in this watch is just as precise and reliable as the watch’s overall build quality! I’ve only had it for 2 weeks, so I set the time 2 weeks ago, and so far it’s gained 2 seconds :( I hope it stabilizes and the movement becomes more accurate. I’ll check in 6 months without resetting the time to see what the deviations are—hopefully they’ll be minimal! Because for that kind of money, I expect a lot from such a little work of art :) All in all, I’m very satisfied! In person, all the colors are subdued, not as bright as in some photos. The red elements aren’t too red, and the strap isn’t too green. I hope the watch lasts as long as possible! :) I already have a few G-Shock watches in my collection, but this one is in a league of its own! My favorite! It’s got power! :)

I had the previous Mudmasters, but this one is really impressive—the metal bezel components perform much better than, say, the ones on the GWG2000, where the carbon fiber was super fragile. In my opinion, this is the better choice.

I have to admit that this is the first serious watch I’ve ever bought, and I’m very pleased both with the customer service—which helped me choose this watch—and with how the order was processed. I've had it for 4.5 years Used at School/now college Work Construction sites Parties Swimming pools Saltwater Anywhere and everywhere I don’t worry about it because I know it can handle anything Admittedly, the bracelet is a bit worn, but what metal wouldn’t be after that long? The glass is in perfect condition, not a single scratch. After 2 years, I did have a temporary issue with it because it was getting stuck, but I read somewhere in a forum that it was a charging issue. Since I was working in a dark office, I left it on the windowsill at home for 2 days, and it never happened again (you just have to wear it). As far as I’m concerned, this watch is indestructible. I recommend it to anyone who wants to start their adventure with G-Shock. After this watch, you won’t want any other brand.
