It’s great that it’s made of leather, because often the more elaborate straps are made of plastic, which I can’t wear. The burgundy dial and sparkling crystals just add to its charm—I highly recommend it!!

I looked at about 20 Swiss watches in the 1,000–2,000 PLN price range and settled on this Delbana. It has the same movement as the Frederique Constant Classics Chronograph FC-292MS5B6, the build quality is slightly lower, and the price is a third of that—even though it’s also Swiss Made. Design is a matter of taste, but I find this one more interesting. I’d rather pay for a solid, well-finished watch than for celebrity “ambassadors” like those at Tissot or Certina. It works great (after 2 weeks it’s about 4 seconds fast), and it’s easy to calibrate the hands to line up with the hour markers.
