Who among us doesn't remember carefree moments spent watching our favourite cartoons? The Powerpuff Girls, or Powerpuff Girls, was one of those animations that introduced us to a world of colourful adventures and indomitable heroines. Now, the Casio brand is launching new models from its Baby-G line inspired by this iconic cartoon, bringing back nostalgic childhood memories.

Powerpuff Girls is an American cartoon created by Craig McCracken. Produced first by Hanna Barbera and later by Cartoon Network, it quickly became a favourite with viewers young and old. It aired from 1998 to 2005 and won numerous awards, including an Emmy and an Annie.

Casio Baby-G x the Powerpuff Girls. What characterises it?
The new Casio Baby-G x the Powerpuff Girls features a square-shaped electronic display, which is surrounded by a pink bezel reflecting the colour scheme of the cartoon. The bezel shows the described functions of the buttons, which help to read each function efficiently. In the background of the display, we can see a symbolic heart - the same one that appeared in the 1998 cartoon's opening credits.
The display of the watch is divided into two sections. At the top, there are icons that provide information about the active functions of the watch, as well as a rectangular field that displays the name of the current day of the week. In addition, triggering the display's backlight causes a simple pixelated animation to appear here instead of an abbreviated version of the day's name.
The back of the watch's envelope is engraved with images of the Atomic Girls flying super fast, in the same dynamic poses seen in the credits of the cult animation. Thanks to the precise workmanship, the cartoon characters are easy to recognise. The watch comes with a white strap made of skin-friendly resin, which fastens with a classic buckle also made of this material. The top of the strap is decorated with colourful drawings of the eponymous superheroes - on one side, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup fly into action, leaving colourful streaks behind, while on the other side of the strap the girls play happily among stars, hearts and ribbons.
Casio Baby-G x the Powerpuff Girls sold as a set
A remarkable feature of the Casio Baby-G x the Powerpuff Girls version is its exceptional versatility. It belongs to the Baby-G+PLUS line of models, or 2-in-1 devices. In addition to the watch itself, the kit includes a white bezel with strap, as well as an additional pink disc-shaped envelope that allows the watch to be worn as a stylish pendant. What's more, the Baby-G watch, housed in a round case, is reminiscent of the iconic Japanese electronic pets of the 1990s, which you had to remember to feed, for example. The set is completed with colourful stickers that can be used to decorate the pink case of the watch - including images of the Powerpuff Girls in various poses, as well as stars, hearts and the series logo.
