The unconventional idea of producing exclusive watches that look worn out was born in the mind of Riccardo Torrisi when he didn’t have the means to repair his expensive watch. Intrigued by the distinctive style of fashionable ripped jeans and worn-out jackets, in 2013 he decided with two other co-founders, Dalla Mora and Dario Ceolotto, to establish the Out Of Order® brand in Italy, near Venice.
Out Of Order® exemplifies the three founders’ out-of-the-box approach to producing inspiring high-end watches. The trio of founders have created premium watches of high-precision. Skilled craftsmen and specialised watchmakers are in control of their high standards. Out Of Order® timepieces are a form of play and a lively dialogue undertaken between the manufacturers and the potential customers. Each model features the OOO symbol and the intriguing slogan "Damaged in Italy" on both the dials and the lugs. The additional statement "Please, treat me bad" completes this alternative convention.
