Trust me, the birthday boy was very delighted with the gift. Apart from the watch, the box included a USB charging cable (without a plug), a user manual and a plastic SIM card key. Before the first use, we let it charge. Before starting the watch set up, his parents downloaded the Garett Tracker app to their phones. The app is available for free on Google Play and App Store. The Garett Kids Rock 4G RT smartwatch is compatible with Android 4.0, iOS 9.0 (and above), and allows the device settings to be configured directly from an adult's smartphone (Bluetooth). This is very important, as without the card most functions won’t work. This applies to the GSM network coverage, access to the mobile network, the child's contacts and location, inability to make phone/video calls, text messages, use of the 'SOS' function and many other important features.

Before my nephew started using the watch, I managed to check its features. I’m sure he will use them on a daily basis at school, at home and in the playground. So, let's get down to the details. My nephew was super excited to personalise his watch and decide on its design – there are four different dials to choose from. I think it will cause a lot of fun for other children too. - pedometer – to start it, click on the "steps" icon and "start" (unfortunately the watch does not count steps by itself)
In addition, the child can check whether there is GMS coverage, WiFi on, what the battery percentage is, as well as adjust the screen brightness and volume. The kid can also access other settings – date and time, VoLTE, language selection (English, Polish, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, German), sleeping mode or switching off the watch.

I’ve already told you about useful functions and features for a child. So, what does the Garett Kids Rock 4G RT smartwatch offer parents and guardians? Not without reason, the brother and sister-in-law seemed more pleased with this watch than their child. Firstly, this model is a GPS watch – it allows you to track where your kid is. The watch helps to make your child more independent and you stop worrying about their safety. The watch is also equipped with the GEOfencing function, which lets you designate three safe zones for your child, accurate location (it allows you to determine the location of the youngest members of the family with an accuracy of 5 metres) and remote voice monitoring (a one-way connection to the smartwatch to hear what’s happening with the child). So, in case of a dangerous situation, you will be able to quickly react.
