Casio EDIFICE EQB-600 features a dsgined described by Casio as bold with a 3-D effect. This was achieved, among others, by placing the individual elements of the dial at different heights. The watch’s face isn’t over-decorated but is refined in every aspect. That’s why the model looks very original and exclusive. The style is improved by a small convex subdial that shows the world time in 3-D. It resembles an image of the Earth, and, just like it, is in constant motion, rotating around its axis.
The finishing details of the high-end watches are also signs of perfectionism. Precision of workmanship is visible in particular in a blue ring located between the case and bezel as well as in the blue accent on the Bluetooth pairing button.
The solar-powered Casio Edifice EQB-600 watch
EDIFICE EQB-600 is a solid men’s watch. The diameter of the watch case is almost 52mm, and its weight is 170g. It’s worth noticing that a typical G-SHOCK watch weighs less than half as much. The watch is equipped with solar cells and Casio’s Tough Solar technology (it’s solar-powered).
Moreover, EQB-600 is equipped with low-power Bluetooth 4.0 synchronization. The watch connects to a smartphone using Bluetooth, providing access to several useful functions, e.g. Phone Finder. If you want to find your phone, just press the button at the 4 o’clock position. The watch will use Bluetooth to trigger your phone. The phone will start buzzing with the alarm tone so you can locate it.
The calendar is fully automatic. Once set, it always displays the correct date, regardless of shorter months or leap years. The watch has a water resistance rating of 100m.
