But not only - they are also chosen by those who want to learn to be systematic and to take care of their own objects, because this is what manual-winding watches can teach you - you need to keep an eye on their work practically every day and also carry out regular maintenance at the watchmaker. However, in return we get a watch that is unique, precise and incredibly beautiful. The principle of their operation is simple - the rotation of the watch crown causes the winding of the watch's drive spring, which then, slowly unwinding, drives the mechanism. This is the most basic system of powering a watch, later developed by the automatic mechanism.
