Details Ciga Design U033-SU01-W6U
The Ciga Design U Series Blue Planet II Astronomy U033-SU01-W6U men's watch is a modern model from the Blue Planet II line. The dial, with a micro-engraved representation of the Earth's surface, uses innovative Asynchronous Follow technology, in which a static hour scale works with a dynamic minute ring. The modified gear ratio of the mechanism means that when the hour hand rotates 30°, the minute hand rotates 390°, allowing the hours and minutes to be read simultaneously with a single indicator. The watch is powered by an automatic, proprietary CIGA Design movement with a power reserve of up to 40 hours. The mechanism design won the Challenge Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in 2021. The dial is protected by double-curved sapphire crystal, and the oval case without lugs increases the display area and wearing comfort. The model is equipped with a tightly sealed crown and a fluorine rubber strap that is resistant to abrasion, corrosion, and temperature changes. Water resistance of 3 ATM means resistance to minor splashes.
