Brand
Created in 2003, the Lithuanian brand Vostok Europe was created through the cooperation of two companies - Vilnius Koliz and Chystopol Watch. Decent construction and the use of top-quality materials make each collection suitable for both extreme sports and survivalist fans.
Collection
The Lunokhod-2 series of watches are strong and durable, limited edition models. Their name and features are inspired by the first unmanned rover Lunochod, which was created for exploration on the surface of the Moon. Four such vehicles were built as part of the Lunochod program, only two of which landed on an Earth satellite.
Mechanism
At the heart of the Vostok Europe YM86-620C504 watch is a Japanese Seiko Epson YM86 quartz movement, powered by a battery.
Tritium backlight - H3 technology
The innovative backlighting with H3 technology comes from Swiss company Mb-Microtect. The tritium, which is used here, works 100 times stronger than ordinary luminescent coating and shines continuously for up to 25 years. The luminescent power stays the same for 10 years. After 12 years it drops by 50%, and only after 24 years by 75%.
Helium valve
Among the features of the model you can find a helium valve. Its function is to release helium particles that enter and accumulate inside the watch under the influence of prolonged high air pressure.
Box
Any wearer will be delighted with the Dry Box, in which the Vostok Europe YM86-620C504 model and the accompanying screwdriver were packed. The packaging is characterized by its resistance to moisture and shock, and therefore works well as a storage space for the watch and diving accessories.
Water resistance
A water resistance rating of 300 meters means that you can have the watch on your wrist during surface swimming and scuba diving. The model is further sealed thanks to the screw-down crown and the caseback.
