Founded in 1954 in the United States, Timex is an internationally recognized brand, producing wonderfully crafted and flawlessly functioning watches. So far, the American manufacturer has presented mainly stylish analog timepieces and electronic models with a sporty flair. However, to meet the expectations of the public Timex decided to release a brand new line of smartwatches, cleverly hidden in the elegant form of classic watches, namely IQ+.
Naturally, the primary function of the Timex IQ+ is to measure time accurately and flawlessly. The watch operates on the basis of a quartz mechanism, powered by a battery - the battery itself is an extremely energy-efficient capacitor, ensuring long-term operation of the timepiece, far exceeding the duration of the usually used mechanisms. However, the strength of the new smartwatch is determined by its additional qualities.
Thanks to the fact that the watch is equipped with a bluetooth module, it can be connected to the smartphone you use every day without much difficulty. Through the phone, it is possible to set up a timer and chronograph, and at 4-hour intervals the phone will check the displayed time and date to correct any differences. The IQ+ smartwatch also monitors the length and quality of sleep, and will show a percentage breakdown of the results of daily goals in terms of distance traveled and number of steps taken. Of course, Timex did not forget to equip its smartwatches with its flagship patent, which is Indiglo-type backlighting - activated by pressing the crown.
All Timex IQ+ timepieces, both men's and women's, are kept in the style of traditional analog watches. The common feature of all models is a steel case and a large clear dial signed with the Timex IQ+ logo, equipped with a smaller numeral dial - it is the one responsible for displaying all the previously mentioned parameters. Individual models, on the other hand, differ in color and material used for the strap; there are both models with straps made of natural leather and comfortable-to-wear plastic.
