The American watch manufacturer Timex is currently one of the most popular brands. Thanks to the diversity of its models, the brand's extensive range includes sports watches as well as more elegant, casual models. Meanwhile, Timex has just unveiled the first version of the Expedition North® line model with chronograph - watches with an off-road character.
The Timex Expedition North® chronograph series now includes two watch models that differ in the colour of the dial. The Expedition North Field Chrono TW2V96300 features a black-coloured dial, while the Timex Expedition North Field Chrono TW2V96400 has a green-coloured dial. The watches are rugged models with a robust construction, whose design was based on classic military-style watches.
What makes up the construction of the new Timex models and what functions have they been equipped with? The grey envelope has been coated with an additional PVD coating to strengthen the construction. It is resistant to scratches, corrosion and tarnishing, so the watch remains in excellent condition for years to come. In addition, it is hypoallergenic.
Connected to the envelope is a soft synthetic rubber strap with a coating derived from 100% recycled cotton. It is extremely durable and resistant to both temperature and corrosion. The textured dial of the Timex watch is complemented by the chronograph sub-dials, the daily time and the day-of-the-month date stamp positioned between four and five o'clock. The luminescent-coated hands and wide linear indexes ensure visibility even in the darkest surroundings.
The dial is protected from adverse external influences by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The latest Timex watches have a screw-down crown and a screw-down bezel which, combined with water resistance of 10 ATM class, makes the watches suitable for swimming, snorkelling, diving in the pool and surfing. A proven quartz movement is responsible for the precision of the watches.
