The company was developed by Abel Frederic's son - Paul. Thanks to him the manufactory was established, producing watches under the Hasler brand. Hard times, a crisis and even a market collapse came in the 1970s with the development of quartz movements. The production of Hasler watches was discontinued until the 1990s. German distributor Bohle GmbHZ came to the rescue. The Hesler factory was revived and began production under a new name. That’s how the Davosa brand was born.
