I bought this watch three months ago; it’s my first G-SHOCK, and I’m very happy with it. Fast and professional service, with delivery within 24 hours. When you buy from this seller, you can be 100% sure of the product’s authenticity from a reliable source, confirmed by a hologram on the back of the case. It comes packaged in the original tin and box with a user manual and a 3-year warranty to start with, and for a small additional fee of 40 PLN, you can extend it for another 3 years. It’s perfect as a gift, as well as for your own use, especially for active people who enjoy being in nature. It looks great on the wrist, giving the impression of being even more expensive than it actually is, while catching the eye of nosy and jealous people ;D Durable construction thanks to the carbon casing, excellent product quality, and an affordable price. It looks bulky, but contrary to appearances, it is very light. The LED backlight is sufficient at night, and the thermometer is fairly accurate +- 1 degree, but you have to take this into account: for an accurate reading, you need to take the watch off your wrist and set it aside in a shaded place for at least 15 minutes, otherwise it will show a temperature close to body temperature. As for the compass, it is very accurate; the pedometer also boasts fairly accurate measurements—when compared to an app over a 5 km stretch, there was a very small difference of about 30 steps (but keep in mind that any irregular, non-rhythmic movement—a sudden jerk of the hand, such as gesturing, tying shoelaces, hammering nails, etc.—can result in additional steps being counted). The barometer displays atmospheric pressure with an accuracy of ±5 hPa, comparable to a classic barometer; however, when it comes to altitude measurement—which is based on a pressure sensor—these results leave much to be desired, because the displayed altitude changes as the pressure changes (namely, when checking altitude above sea level; living on the 3rd floor, when the pressure is low, the watch shows a fairly high altitude, and when the pressure is high, a relatively low one; thus, the difference between individual measurements at different times of the day is significant—as much as 100–200 meters. you could try calibrating the altitude readings, but will that help? I doubt it), this is one drawback of this watch; this measurement should be taken with a grain of salt rather than as a reliable indicator of altitude. An interesting feature is the Indicator, which saves the starting point in the app (available for download, among others, in the Play Store under "G-SHOCK Connected") when we set out on a hike in the woods or mountains, and in case we get lost, it should lead us back to the starting point, e.g., where we left our car. The accuracy is ± about 80–100 meters from the starting point, but this can vary; in the field, the watch doesn’t always want to connect to the smartphone, so you have to take that into account as well. It’s better to treat it as an additional gadget rather than a professional “navigator”—that would be the second drawback of this watch model. The third downside for me is the app, which is only in English; it’s good that at least the user manual is in Polish. Another cool feature is the display of sunrise and sunset times, UTC time, an automatic date display, a stopwatch, a timer, the ability to set multiple alarms, low battery alerts, analog and digital time display, Bluetooth connectivity with a smartphone, the option to move the hands to better see the readings on the small digital display, and many, many other features for customizing the watch that I’m still discovering. This is my subjective assessment after three months of use. The thickness of the case might be a minor inconvenience for some people when wearing tight sweatshirts or jackets with drawstrings, but is that really such a big deal? This watch more than makes up for all those potential inconveniences. It’s simply a hallmark of most G-SHOCK models ;) All in all, I highly recommend the GG-B100-1AER watch model, and if I had to choose again, it would be this exact same watch from the same seller, as it’s available at the best possible price—lower than what competitors offer. I placed my order over the phone, and on top of the watch price, I received an additional nice discount, for which I’d like to thank the seller Zegarownia.pl. Best regards
