The Casio G-SHOCK G-Squad Compact GD-B500-1ER is a versatile men's timepiece designed for active wearers. Equipped with a Japanese quartz movement, the timepiece offers an impressive array of features, including Bluetooth for syncing with your phone, a pedometer and a lap-split function for precise tracking of laps. A black envelope made of carbon-reinforced resin provides not only durability, but also shock resistance, a characteristic of the G-SHOCK series. The watch is equipped with a digital display that shows the time in two time zones, a day-of-the-month and day-of-the-week date, and 24-hour time. The Super Illuminator guarantees excellent visibility even in the darkest conditions, and water resistance up to 200 meters makes this model an ideal choice for any activity. In addition, the watch has functions such as a stopwatch, timer, expanded calendar and 5 daily alarms, which add to its practicality and functionality.

5/9/26As a longtime fan of G-SHOCK watches, I couldn’t help but take notice of the GD-B500-1ER model. It’s a completely new take on the G-Squad series, and I have to admit that its “compactness” really shines. The watch is incredibly slim and lightweight, which, while maintaining full shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance, is quite an engineering feat by Casio.
