At the heart of the device is the EB140 manual-winding mechanism, characterized by a 40-hour power reserve - you can observe its work through the screw-down transparent lid. The water resistance of the watch is 3 ATM.
Eberhard - many years of tradition and passion
The history of the Eberhard brand began in 1887. That's when Georges Eberhard founded a watch manufactory in the Swiss town of La Chaux-de-Fonds. As early as 1894, it released the first pocket watch with an innovative patented time-setting system. The 1920s saw the first chronograph wrist device and a patent for protecting the mechanism from dust and moisture. In the next decade, the brand got busy improving the chronograph. The 1970s saw the development of the quartz watch. The following years were full of new collections, often referring to historical events. There were also a lot of modern technical developments. The prestige of the brand and more than 100 years of watchmaking tradition makes it still very popular among watch enthusiasts. In 2019, a museum was opened, where you can see an exhibition dedicated to historical models and telling the story of Eberhard.

The 1887 Remontage Manuel collection uses the manufacutured caliber EB 140 movement, which impresses with its harmonious and geometric shapes. This Swiss Made grade mechanism was created to honor the founding date of the Eberhard brand - 1887 - and is set on 18 bearing stones. In turn, its walk reserve is 40 hours. The frequency of oscillations per hour is 28,800 vph. In addition, the EB 140 mechanism is decorated with a perlage (pearling) decoration, and some of its components are made of 2N gold with a diamond finish.
Water resistance
Water resistance is specified at 30 meters, which allows the watch to be accidentally wet, such as when washing hands.

9/20/22I appreciate beautiful objects, of high quality. For this I have been betting on watches with the Swiss Made designation for years. The visual qualities in Eberhard watches are obvious. For me, the key feature is the mechanism, in this case a manufactory one. This is one of those watches, unattainable for everyone. And that is of great importance to me.

1/3/22The watch is unusual and has a great history. We bought it for our dad, who is a lawyer and likes historical items. The model really impressed both us and him. Great dial that matches the color of dad's eyes and his favorite navy blue suit. We are happy with the service process and will definitely come back here.
