5/19/26I bought this watch because I was looking for something affordable that didn’t look like a typical plastic watch from a discount store. And honestly, the Casio AE-1200WHL-5AVEF really surprised me in a good way. It looks even better in person than in the photos—it has a bit of a retro/vintage style, but it still goes perfectly with everyday outfits, sweatshirts, T-shirts, or even dress shirts.
What I like most is that it’s lightweight, comfortable, and has plenty of features you can actually use, like a second time zone, alarm, stopwatch, and backlight. It also looks sturdy, as you’d expect from Casio, so you don’t have to treat it like a delicate egg. For the price, it really does the job.
The only downside is the strap—it looks cool, but I get the feeling it might wear out over time, and I’ll probably replace it eventually. -
