MiG Collection
Aviator's inspiration for the MiG series was the Soviet MiG aircraft, production of which began in December 1940. They were among the first to be equipped with state-of-the-art aviation technology. The M.2.30.0.220.6 watch case, dial design and Swiss precision allude to the aerodynamic design of this supersonic fighter jet.
MiG-29 SMT series
The M.2.30.0.220.6 watch belongs to the MiG-29 SMT sub-collection. Its geometric design is reminiscent of the aerodynamic fuselage of the MiG-29 supersonic fighter. The Aviator brand has opted for Swiss Made military precision and advanced functions. Any aviator enthusiast will be satisfied with the high quality of materials, such as mineral glass, or the dial equipped with a logarithmic slider.
Limited edition
The Aviator M.2.30.0.220.6 men's watch was created as part of a limited edition that includes a limited number of copies available worldwide. The series number has been engraved on the decorative case-back caseback.
Quartz mechanism
Inside the envelope, the M.2.30.0.220.6 men's watch has one of Switzerland's finest quartz mechanisms, the Ronda 5030.D. Aviator has equipped it with multifunctional complications of a date, chronograph and distance measuring functions. It also has a battery with a walk reserve of up to 54 months. This gold-plated mechanism is set on 13 bearing stones.
Sapphire glass
The dial of the Swiss M.2.30.0.220.6 watch is protected by mineral glass, which is highly transparent (it eliminates 99% of the reflections perceived by the human eye) and provides excellent protection against scratches. Aviator used this type of material because the sapphire, after processing, achieves a very high hardness, which on the Mohs scale is 9 out of 10 points.
Super-LumiNova®
The Aviator M.2.30.0.220.6 is a men's watch with a luminescent Super-LumiNova coating, which is applied to, among other things, hands and indexes and even entire dials. This state-of-the-art technology, based on strontium aluminate and REACH-compliant, offers efficient illumination of indications in the dark. The mass is highly resistant to temperature, fading and aging.
Chronograph
The dial of the Aviator M.2.30.0.220.6 watch features three pointer chronograph sub-dials with minute, second and, depending on the collection, hour or 1/10th of a second counters. Together with the ADD and SPLIT functions, the user is assured of precise time measurement with the ability to record its various elapsed sections.
E6B logarithmic slide rule
The Aviator M.2.30.0.220.6 watch is equipped with the E6B logarithmic slider, which is based on the E6B on-board computer. There are two calculation rings (an outer one on a rotating bezel with inversion from 6.0 to 1.0 and an inner one). They enable calculations such as those related to fuel combustion or moving speed.
100-meter water resistance
The 100-meter water resistance protects the mechanism of the Aviator M.2.30.0.220.6 watch from splashes during surface swimming and bathing. You can enjoy selected water sports with it.
