The stylish Aviator Douglas DC-3 V.3.31.7.229.4 men's wristwatch consists of a round steel case, a strap sewn from natural leather and a dial protected by sapphire glass. The V.3.31.7.229.4 watch from the Aviator brand was created as part of an exceptional limited edition, with a strict number of copies produced. Each watch is marked with an individual number, which is placed on the back of the envelope on the caseback.
Automatic mechanism
The Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement is a reliable solution used by the Aviator brand. It has a 38-hour power reserve, 26 bearing stones and the Novodiac (Incabloc) anti-shock system. This three-wind watch, is powered by an Etachron regulator. Gait precision is guaranteed by a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Sapphire glass
The dial of the Swiss V.3.31.7.229.4 watch is protected by sapphire glass, which is highly transparent (it eliminates 99% of the reflections perceived by the human eye) and provides excellent protection against scratches. Aviator used this type of material because sapphire, after processing, achieves a very high hardness, which on the Mohs scale is 9 out of 10 points.
