It features a navy blue leather strap and a silver-colored envelope, made of high-quality brushed stainless steel. The legible navy blue dial, signed with the "Aviator" logo, is covered with a sapphire crystal glass with double anti-reflection, which will perfectly defend against even the toughest kind of scratches. On the decklid side, you can see the brand's logo engraved in the form. The watch operates on the basis of an incredibly precise Swiss quartz movement (Ronda 519), powered by a battery. The Aviator model is additionally equipped with a date of the days of the month, located at 3 o'clock. Water resistance has been set at 100 meters, which means that no water will get inside the timepiece in case of swimming and diving without an aqualung. The Aviator Airacobra P42 V.1.22.0.149.4 comes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty.

The military character is complemented by such elements as an enlarged crown, aerodynamic shape of the envelope, large markers with Super-LumiNova coating and Big Date timepiece.
Quartz mechanism
The Swiss gold-plated quartz movement ETA F06.161 with Big Date complication is responsible for timekeeping in the V.1.22.0.149.4 watch from Aviator brand. It is one of the best innovative mechanisms with a 68-months' reserve of gait and with 3 bearing stones. Its operation is based on an electrical system that obtains energy from a battery.
Sapphire glass
The dial of the Swiss V.1.22.0.149.4 watch is protected by mineral glass, which is highly transparent (eliminates 99% of reflections perceived by the human eye) and provides excellent protection against scratches. Aviator used this type of material because the sapphire, after processing, achieves a very high hardness, which on the Mohs scale is 9 out of 10 points.
Super-LumiNova®
The Aviator V.1.22.0.149.4 watch uses Super-LumiNova technology, which is a modern and non-radioactive luminescent coating based on strontium aluminate. It is applied to indexes, hands and dials. Thanks to exposure to any light source, it provides full legibility in the dark according to ISO 3157 standards.
Water resistance of 100 meters
The water resistance of the Aviator V.1.22.0.149.4 watch is 100 meters, so surface swimming or practicing certain water sports with the model on hand is not a danger.

7/17/20A wonderful watch. Well made (you can see that it's not a toy), an extremely legible dial and a window with the date (and this sapphire!). The watch is very solid, strong and well-designed. And most importantly: the manufacturer did not exaggerate. Simplicity, subtlety and pure elegance. It is very comfortable to wear, it is not heavy at all (although that is my impression). Excellent grade for quality and appearance. I have been enjoying it since yesterday. And I know it will serve me for many years. Best regards from Ursynów. Michael.
