A1072.5213A Adriatica Automatic Men's Watch

In 2007, I bought an identical model (ref. A1072.2824.1) with the first money I ever earned (the only slight difference is the shape of the hour hand). This was right after I graduated from college, and I was very proud of this purchase, especially since I had spent my entire paycheck on this very watch. I was captivated by the guilloché dial, whose appearance shifted as light hit it from different angles. My attention was particularly drawn to the second hand, moving almost as smoothly as a sailboat across a lake, as well as the lume, whose brightness and duration pleasantly surprised me. This watch has been with me ever since! It has never let me down, and it remains my everyday timepiece. Although my life has changed significantly since then, I haven’t changed the watch itself. I’ve had it serviced, and I polish the case with special products from time to time. Over the years, it has been with me during the most important days of my life, including my wedding, the birth of my child, the purchase of my first car (and my second ;)), graduating from various degrees, changing jobs—each one better than the last—and even during times that were far from perfect. However, it has always been a companion I could and can still rely on. I really like it; even though it may not be the most prestigious model or brand in the world, it is surprisingly durable and versatile. It’s also stylish and fits various situations, and most importantly—it always reminds me that time is constantly flowing, that what was is already gone, and that there’s still so much good ahead of me.

I was looking for a watch to go with a suit in a basic, classic combination: black shoes, black belt, navy blue suit. A watch that’s classic, understated, and, of course, reasonably priced. So I received the watch today, and I have to admit that I’m pleased with it... The dial is white and has a subtle pearlescent finish (in my opinion), which adds elegance. The hands, even though they’re silver, are visible from practically every angle—contrary to my fears. The strap was a surprise; super stiff and creaky, though after 2 hours on my wrist it adjusted and settled in, and I remembered that this most likely indicates its quality and authenticity, since it has the same characteristics as a good old military belt :) Another plus is the case, which may not be slim enough to fit perfectly under a shirt cuff, but it’s not super thick either. Plus, it’s not huge either, so it doesn’t look like a pocket watch or an alarm clock strapped to your wrist; on the contrary, I’d call it perfectly balanced in diameter—especially with a suit. So once again, I’m happy because I chose a great watch, and at the same time, I’d like to thank Zegarownia.pl once again for a truly solid and reliable order fulfillment (the courier delivered it within 24 hours on Saturday).

An automatic classic with a timeless design, from a Swiss brand with a long history—the choice was obvious, and I was convinced by the real photos on the website and the POV video, which lets you see exactly how the watch will look on your wrist. I’m very happy with my purchase. Best regards
