After 12 years, the strength drops by 50%, and only after 24 years to 25% of the initial brightness.
K1 glass - a new quality
Hardened K1 glass provides much better protection against scratches and dings than popular mineral glass. K1 glass is made from an extremely flexible, synthetic material. Any harder impacts do not cause damage, but deformation. The anti-reflective coating with which it is coated will make it easier to read the time in bright sunlight.
