History
Vostok Europe is the child of two companies - Lithuanian Vilnius Koliz and Russian Khristopol Watch. It was founded in 2003 and already a year later promoted itself at the Basel Fair. The Vostok Europe watch collection was dedicated to the legendary "North Pole 1" expedition, which took place in late 1937/1938. The main success of this expedition was the creation of the first Soviet manned drifting research station used for geographical and meteorological research in the North Pole region.

K1 glass - a new quality.
The use of K1 glass in Vostok Europe watches provides much better protection of the device's mechanism against scratches and dings than the popular sapphire or mineral glass. This type of protection of the dial does not shatter easily, and additionally maintains high scratch resistance. All thanks to the use of an innovative production method. The K1 glass is made of an extremely flexible synthetic material, rather than solid glass. Any impact therefore does not cause damage, but deformation. The hardness of the glass is specified as 7 on the 10-point Mohs scale.
Water resistance
The water resistance of the Vostok Europe watch has been set at 200 meters so it provides protection against deterioration during activities such as swimming and scuba diving.
