Collection
The Energia Rocket series is inspired by a carrier rocket. The machine was capable of carrying a payload weighing about 100 tons into orbit. Its launch engines meant that it could take off without the use of a shuttle. The first flight took place in 1987, and the last one just a year later.
Mechanism
The Japanese Seiko Epson YN84 movement is a guarantee of the model's accurate gait. It is set on 22 bearing stones, and its gait reserve is 40 hours. It has a characteristic flowing seconds hand. It winds when the wearer's hand moves.
Water resistance
The water resistance of the Vostok Europe Energia Rocket watch is 300 meters, which removes the risk of damage during water activities such as swimming and scuba diving. Additional watertightness is provided by the professional helium valve, as well as the screw-down crown and the caseback.
Box
Innovative tritium backlighting from Swiss company Mb-Microtect is responsible for the legibility of the hour in the dark. It is up to 100 times more powerful than ordinary luminescent coatings. H3 is the chemical formula of tritium, whose luminous brightness remains the same for 10 years. After 12 years it drops by 50%, and only after 24 years to 25%.
Tritium backlighting - H3 technology
The innovative H3 tritium backlight is a technology from the Swiss company Mb-Microtect. It works 100 times stronger compared to luminescent coatings and shines for up to 25 years. H3 is the chemical formula of tritium, whose luminescence brightness lasts 10 years. After 12 years it drops by 50%, and only after 24 years to 25% of the initial brightness.
K1 glass - a new quality
Hardened K1 glass provides much better protection against scratches and dings than popular mineral glass. K1 glass is made from an extremely flexible, synthetic material. Any harder impacts do not cause damage, but deformation. The anti-reflective coating with which it is coated will make it easier to read the time in bright sunlight.

4/26/23At first I had mixed feelings about this watch, it sits too high on my hand and wearing it with a shirt is a bit uncomfortable. But the longer I wore it, the more and more I started to like it. The weight and the envelope of the watch are really sizable, but without being exaggerated like what some Diesel watch models are. I suspect that I would be unlikely to pick up this watch in a store, as it is simply different from the usual average watches. This Vostok model both with its appearance and workmanship does the job, and I make no secret of it, it attracts the eyes and questions of people who don't normally pay attention to who wears what on their hands.... And this is what I wanted, to have a specific model and eye-catching, not because of the dimensions, but more because of the brand and workmanship.... The price is high, but it is worth it...

4/26/23It is so very "different" that I found that I prefer this one to the regular one. Those yellow hands stand out a lot and do quite a job. The leather strap really strong, well made, elegant. The watch is, as I said, different from the others, I am drawn to it by something. Vostok has great ideas. I recommend.
