The Vostok Europe Atomic Age Oppenheimer Line Multifunction Limited Edition YM86-640A696 is a men's watch limited to 3,000 pieces, which is set in motion by a Japanese Seiko Epson YM8 quartz movement. The line is dedicated to Nobel laureate Robert Oppenheimer. He was the head of the Los Alamos laboratory and has been called the "father of the atomic bomb" due to his role in the Manhattan Project, which developed the first nuclear weapon. After World War II, Oppenheimer became chairman of the influential General Advisory Committee of the newly formed United States Atomic Energy Commission. He used this position to lobby for international control of nuclear energy to prevent nuclear proliferation and a nuclear arms race with the Soviet Union. The watch has an original polygonal envelope consisting of 2 "pressed" parts one into the other, which were created from stainless steel. Embedded in the envelope is a black dial with a day-of-the-month date, chronograph, tachymeter, as well as hands and indexes with GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Sources) illumination. The digitizer is protected from adverse external influences by K1 mineral glass. Besides, the watch also features an alarm, perpetual calendar and daylight saving time. The screw-down caseback and crown, combined with a water resistance rating of 20 ATM, allows diving without an aqualung. An additional silicone strap is included. The whole thing is packed in a red Drybox XL case.

Water resistance of 200 meters allows you to surface swim and scuba dive with the watch on your wrist.

The watch operates on a battery-powered quartz mechanism.

The hardened mineral glass is covered with a special coating, which increases its scratch resistance.

The watch comes from a limited edition with a strictly defined mintage.
