3/18/26This Timex model is a real treat for anyone who has a soft spot for the 1980s but is looking for modern reliability. The design, which references that decade—especially that distinctive “TV dial” case—makes a great impression and stands out from today’s repetitive designs. The watch is elegant, but it has that certain something that makes it work even with more casual outfits. The biggest advantage for me is the automatic movement. At this price point, it’s a fantastic option—the watch “lives” with us, and you don’t have to worry about batteries. A big plus for the steel bracelet with thick links; it’s sturdy, well-made, and gives the whole watch a substantial heft that I really like. The Hesalite crystal perfectly complements this retro style, and the fact that it can be easily polished in case of minor scratches is very practical.
