After receiving this watch from Zegarownia, I set it to the exact second on May 23, 2023. I always set my watches using the DCF 77 time signal from the transmitter in Mainflingen.
I really like Timex watches. The two oldest ones I own are 27 years old and run perfectly, consistently maintaining high accuracy in their time display. The Timex Expedition Scout TW4B23000 also performs very well in this regard. After 1.5 months since being set, the watch is 7 seconds slow, which can be considered a very good result, but also typical for these renowned American watches.
This watch is definitely for those who follow the “cost-effectiveness” principle. In addition to its highly accurate timekeeping, the Timex Expedition Scout TW4B23000 features a strap that is exceptionally comfortable on the wrist, despite being thick (3 to 3.7 mm) and very sturdy.
As a side note—at one of his press conferences, U.S. President George W. Bush was unexpectedly asked what kind of watch he wore. The president raised his hand, rolled up his sleeve, showed his watch, and said, “I always wear a $50 Timex.”
