12/26/21I got this watch for St. Nicholas Day, so today marks exactly 20 days of wearing it. First and foremost, it’s both beautiful and elegant. The green dial looks fabulous in the sunlight and pairs perfectly with the silver case. The leather strap, with its nice stitching and also in green, perfectly complements the rest of the watch. I had some concerns about the acrylic crystal revealing the watch’s movement—whether it would scratch and how my allergy-prone skin would react to it—but as it turned out, everything is fine. The crystal could have been omitted, but since it’s there, it’s always a nice touch to peek at what’s ticking inside :) The strap also doesn’t irritate the skin, and despite daily use and frequent hand sanitizing (that’s the nature of my job), I haven’t noticed any issues with discoloration or other damage.
I wear the watch both to work and in my everyday life. In my opinion, it’s versatile because it goes great with a shirt and blazer as well as with more casual outfits. I really like it, and I’m truly glad that Santa knew exactly what to get me this time :) I highly recommend it, especially since Timex is a reliable brand and, importantly, doesn’t overcharge. -
